- The venue for the forthcoming BIFD Symposium will be determined four (4) years before the event by the BIFD Organizing Committee comprising the following members:
- Members of the Advisory Committee:
- Chair of the current Local Organizing Committee
- Chair of the Local Organizing Committee of the symposium taking place in 2 years.
- As an example, the venue for the symposium to be held in 2017 was determined in 2013 by the Members of the Advisory Committee and the Chairs of the Symposia BIFD2013 and BIFD2015.
- A list of the invited speakers and the titles of their talks as well as Minisymposia titles and Chairs will be coordinated jointly by the local Organizing Committee (or its Chair) of the upcoming Symposium and the BIFD Advisory Committee.
